The FIFA Fan Festival in Qatar was the official fan site of the World Cup 2022, where fans outside the stadium could gather to watch the games live. The hub for fans of all teams during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Fan Festival broadcast every game live on giant screens, while also featuring concerts and parties.
With the whole world watching, the organizers were looking for a reliable and efficient technological solution that could handle large crowds at stressful peak times. Simphony Cloud was selected as the Core POS through our partners TechnoQ and QNB was the Acquirer for the event. Touché was selected as the solution running on 220 terminals used by all the food and drink stalls as well as ‘hawkers’.
